AMY GOUGH, MANAGING DIRECTOR
Wanderlust Communications was set up by Amy Gough in 2015. Amy is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in integrated public relations and social media. Amy began her career in the UK working with travel and tourism brands including Stena Line, Welcome to Yorkshire and Co-op Travel. Following this Amy worked for one of the leading supermarkets as a consumer press officer.
She then went on to work for one of the UK’s first social media agencies and developed the social media strategy for global brand Sony Ericsson and managed accounts for Silver Cross, Lee Cooper and the NHS. Since relocating to Western Australia in 2011, Amy has worked as the Marketing Manager for a large recreation centre and as General Manager for a large regional Visitor Centre where she honed her tourism marketing skills.
In 2014 Amy won the Kalgoorlie Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry Administration Employee of the Year Award and the GWN7 Golden I Award for Visitor Centre Leadership. She has an Honors Degree in Public Relations, a Cert IV in Training and Assessment and an Advanced Diploma in Management.
As the Managing Director of Wanderlust Communications, Amy has worked with clients including Tourism Western Australia, Australia’s South West, Australia’s Coral Coast, Australia’s Golden Outback, Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef, Walk Into Luxury, Great Temptations and Hotel Northbridge.
Amy loves meeting new people and working together to achieve their business goals. A creative thinker, with a strategic underpinning, Amy loves to be involved from the conception stage right through to delivery. She’s a keen writer and loves bringing people’s brands to life online through good content and storytelling.
DANICA DELLER, ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Danica has worked at Wanderlust Communications for three years and has a passion for tourism and can create compelling copy for just about any client! She has a degree in Communications and Media from Murdoch University.
Danica has always been passionate about digital marketing, working for a small real estate agency and a corporate sales company before joining us full time. She has a flair for storytelling and a great eye for the type of content that will perform well for clients. On the weekend you’ll normally find her trying out a new bar or restaurant or hitting the beach with her mates.
ISABELLE DURAN, ACCOUNT MANAGER
Isabelle is an experienced marketing and communications professional with over 8 years of experience in campaign management and development. She began her career in the USA working with an event production and brand management agency. Here she worked with brands such as Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, Food Network, Shake Shack and the Miami Dolphins (NFL team). Following this, Isabelle worked at Sony Music Entertainment in their Latin headquarters.
At Sony, Isabelle focused on brand partnerships and strategic alliances having worked with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Proctor & Gamble, Heineken, McDonald’s, Kia Motors, FIFA, and many more. Her most recent role was with a digital agency, where she focused on tourism marketing for the city of New Orleans.
Isabelle is a strategic thinker with a real creative flair. She is great at developing engaging and strategic campaigns that really deliver and her secret sauce? Facebook Ads! She’s our in-house Facebook Ads guru and she’s delivering some incredible results for our clients.
